Ummmmm ok. This is getting weird now, and also kind of racist.

I’m not Japanese. My husband is (half). I have blonde hair, as seen in my profile photo. It’s also not in very good taste to reduce a nationality to a group of stereotypes … I’m pretty sure most Asian women are tired of the mysterious, silent woman trope.

I don’t often enter contests on polyvore, but I couldn’t resist this “what would you pair with combat boots?” contest. Also, it irritated me that all of the contestants are offering explanations of why they paired this with that, or why such and such would look good with the boots. A lady wearing combat boots does not need to explain why she is wearing combat boots.
